Description: The theater of King Louis XV at Versailles, France, designed by Gabriel for the marriage of King Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette, and reopened on April 9, 1957 after being closed since the French Revolution of 1789. Leaning against a blue velvet couch between two gold fluted columns on the balcony, a model is wearing a gold embroidered turquoise dress with a matching stole by Lanvin-Castillo, with unattributed white gloves and pearl earrings. A lighted crystal chandelier hangs overhead.
